    POSITION TITLE: Marketing Specialist/Coordinator

    DEPT/LOCATION: Administrative/Marketing - Sun Prairie

    REPORTING TO: Director of Operations/Owner

    Job Summary:

    The Marketing Specialist role requires someone who is creative and detail-oriented. The role focuses on developing and executing marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement, brand awareness, and sales. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating compelling marketing materials to build brand awareness, managing our website and social media presence, partnering with local organizations, promoting special events, and drafting media responses.

    Key Responsibilities

    Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote restaurant events, seasonal menu items, and special promotions.

    Create engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, and videos, ensuring brand consistency.

    Streamline company materials and campaigns to ensure a consistent and concise messaging.

    Manage website design, content, SEO development, and tracking analytics to ensure all content is up-to-date and relevant.

    Collaborate with local businesses, organizations, and influencers to build strategic partnerships and increase community engagement.

    Design and produce marketing materials such as flyers, posters, email newsletters, and advertisements.

    Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to refine strategies and improve outreach.

    Respond to media inquiries and draft press releases to enhance the restaurant’s public image.

    Assist in organizing and promoting in-house and community events.

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, social media best practices, and emerging marketing technologies.

    Qualifications & Skills

    Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    2+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage industry.

    Strong proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok) and content creation.

    Experience managing websites (SpotHopper or similar CMS) and email marketing platforms.

    Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively.

    Passion for the restaurant industry and a keen understanding of guest engagement.

    Proficient in photography and/or videography is a plus

    Pay: $45,000 - $55,000
