About the Role:
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and self-motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our New York City office. The ideal candidate will work closely with leadership on a range of marketing and business development activities, including crafting proposals, maintaining the firm’s digital presence, and supporting our strategic growth initiatives. This role offers an opportunity to contribute directly to our ongoing success and visibility in the architecture and design industry.
Responsibilities:
Brand Management: Developing and maintaining a strong brand image for the firm, ensuring consistency across all materials and channels. They may oversee the creation of branding assets, such as logos, brochures, and websites.
Marketing Strategy: Developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that aligns with the firm’s goals. This may include content marketing, digital advertising, public relations, and event planning.
Client Acquisition and Retention: Identifying potential clients and opportunities, nurturing leads, and managing the client acquisition process. They often work closely with senior leadership to identify target markets and position the firm effectively.
Proposal and Presentation Development: Leading the creation of project proposals and presentations, often coordinating with design and technical staff to showcase the firm’s expertise and past projects.
Market Research: Conducting research on industry trends, competitors, and client needs. This helps the firm stay competitive and tailor its services to market demands.
Networking and Relationship Building: Attending industry events, engaging in community outreach, and fostering relationships with clients, industry professionals, and potential partners.
Digital Marketing and Content Creation: Managing the firm’s online presence, including website content, social media, newsletters, and email campaigns. They often create or oversee blog posts, case studies, and portfolio updates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Architecture, Design, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing within the architecture, engineering, or design sector.
Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
Experience in producing high-quality RFP/RFQ responses and proposal documents.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Knowledge of digital marketing best practices and experience managing social media platforms.
