About the Chef Ann Foundation
Founded in 2009, the Chef Ann Foundation (CAF) believes that all children should have equal access to fresh, healthy, delicious food providing them the foundation to thrive and meet their true potential. We ensure that school food professionals have the resources, funding and support they need to provide cook-from-scratch meals that support the health of children and our planet. To date, we’ve reached over 14,000 schools and over 3.4 million children in all 50 states.
Job Description
Transforming school food relies on uplifting and investing in school food professionals. CAF designed its Healthy School Food Pathway program – which consists of federally-registered Pre-Apprenticeship, Apprenticeship, and Fellowship programs – to offer a structured training solution for school food professionals to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to make school food healthier, more sustainable, and equitable. The Healthy School Food Pathway Fellowship program operates nationally, while the Healthy School Food Pathway Pre-Apprenticeship and Apprenticeship programs currently operate in California and Colorado, with plans to expand to several additional states in the coming years.
The Marketing Coordinator, Programs (Workforce Development) will support the marketing and communications needs of CAF’s Healthy School Food Pathway program and other school food workforce development initiatives.
This includes assisting with program launches, recruitment initiatives, and program-related events and developing print and digital marketing and communications materials. The Marketing Coordinator, Programs (Workforce Development) will help demonstrate the impact of the Healthy School Food Pathway program through people-centered storytelling, supporting communications for program participants and other stakeholders, contributing to program brand efforts, and more. This position will also help other school food workforce development projects as needed.
The Marketing Coordinator of Programs (Workforce Development) reports to the Senior Marketing Coordinator of Programs (Workforce Development). This is a full-time, limited-service role through 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability. The position is available immediately. Occasional travel is required.
