    Salary: 50K-65K-ish Plus bonus. Houston, TX (Upper Kirby area 77098). Full-time, On-Site.

    Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Houston, TX, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to act as the vital link between the firm and its external marketing agency.

    You'll kick off as the firm's first in-house marketer, launching exciting start to your career journey in a role where you can truly make your mark. Your primary responsibilities will include collaborating closely with the firm’s marketing agency on diverse projects such as social media campaigns, video shoots, content marketing and email marketing, working independently while receiving guidance and mentorship from the marketing agency team.

    This position is ideal for an early-career marketing professional with a couple of years of experience, eager to grow in a corporate setting known for its professionalism and collegial atmosphere.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Coordinate with the firm’s external marketing agency to implement marketing projects, ensuring tactical tasks resulting from strategic plans are executed effectively.
    • Social Media content scheduling (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook).
    • Social Media and email analytics (reports will be provided to you by external agency and you’ll be guided on how to present these reports to internal stakeholders).
    • Monitor Google Reviews, swiftly identifying and addressing any signs of client dissatisfaction to maintain the firm's reputation.
    • Monitor all social media mentions of the firm, ensuring that both negative comments and positive accolades are quickly identified. Positive feedback is leveraged for content opportunities, such as featured articles, blog posts, or promotional social media updates.
    • Manage scheduling and coordination of video and photoshoots for new lawyers, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Handle follow-ups and confirmations, balancing professionalism with assertiveness to keep busy lawyers on track and fully prepared for the video/photoshoots.
    • Light graphic design editing – able to make edits to tear sheets designed in Adobe InDesign.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • BA in Marketing or similar field
    • 1 to 2 years of experience working in a professional, corporate environment.
    • Adept in using Social Media monitoring tools (ex: Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.).
    • Able to analyze social media and email marketing metrics.

    SOFTWARE

    • Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google Analytics (basic), WordPress (basic – for updating content), Social Media monitoring tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, Adobe Photoshop (nice to have but not required).
