Job Title: Marketing Director
Reports to: COO
Department: Marketing
Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
Description/Expectations:
The Marketing Director’s mission will be to support the sales efforts for Hendler Family Brewing Company by cultivating the demand for our brands. The Marketing Director will be responsible for organizing and leading the marketing team; creating engaging communications and advertising strategies that build meaningful relationships with our customers, developing and executing marketing programs in coordination with the Business Development Management and Sales Management; and monitoring the health of Hendler Family Brewing Company's brands in the marketplace.
Essential Functions and Duties:
Develop and execute effective marketing strategies for all channels serviced by the company’s distribution systems.
Seek and create new opportunities for effective brand marketing.
Organize and manage a team of direct reports including Digital Marketing Coordinator, Marketing and Public Events Coordinator, Graphic Designer, and Marketing Interns.
Oversee relationships with external communications and advertising partners.
Oversee community involvement, press release timing, copywriting, and content creation.
Develop and manage the department’s budget according to company strategy and accounting practices.
Effectively manage and coach their team to increase the productivity, skill set and capabilities of our internal resources
Prioritize projects in line with business goals.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to ownership on a regular basis.
Remain current on consumer and business trends through the conducting of regular market research and competitive tracking.
Openly communicate ideas for improvement.
Other related duties and assignments as necessary.
Job Requirements:
10 years in an external communications or marketing leadership role.
Strong project and personnel management skills.
Knowledge of craft beer market/industry and appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with sales/marketing teams, distribution partners, and ownership.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and related stress in a high-production environment; high degree of flexibility to respond to changing priorities and demands; adaptability to meet changing requirements of different departments such as sales, product development, and advertising.
Close attention to detail.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Google suite.
Proficiency in use of social media platforms such as Facebook, and Instagram.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
A results driven, energetic, confident personality.
