Position Type: Full-time | Reports To: Managing Partner / Firm Administrator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and creative Marketing Director to lead and execute the law firm’s marketing initiatives. This role is responsible for developing and managing the firm's brand presence, driving business development through strategic digital and traditional campaigns, supporting recruitment marketing, overseeing the sales funnel for client acquisition and managing a marketing budget for the firm. This position will play an integral role on the leadership team and support our ongoing national expansion.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in branding, creative design, digital advertising, public relations, and sales enablement, with demonstrated success in professional services marketing (preferably legal or similar industries).
Key Responsibilities:
Branding & Strategy
Develop and refine the firm’s brand identity and ensure consistent application across all platforms and collateral.
Lead firm-wide marketing strategy aligned with business development goals and firm growth objectives.
Partner with leadership to support practice group-specific marketing initiatives.
Creative Design
Oversee the creation of all marketing materials including print collateral, digital assets, presentations, and proposal templates.
Manage external creative resources and vendors when needed.
Digital Advertising Management
Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, LinkedIn, and other platforms).
Monitor campaign performance, optimize for ROI, and report results regularly to leadership.
Ensure the firm’s website and digital presence are current, professional, and SEO-optimized.
Recruitment Marketing Support
Collaborate with HR and leadership to develop recruitment-focused marketing strategies, including job posting language, recruitment campaigns, and employer branding efforts.
Public Relations
Develop and manage public relations strategies to enhance the firm’s reputation.
Draft and distribute press releases, manage media relationships and oversee award submissions.
Identify and pitch opportunities for thought leadership.
Sales Funnel Management
Support lead generation and sales funnel tracking through CRM systems.
Oversee nurturing campaigns and proposal development to convert leads into clients.
Work with the business development team to track and report on pipeline activity and results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Experience in a professional services environment (legal preferred).
Proven expertise in branding, creative design oversight, and digital ad management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with CRM systems
Experience optimizing paid ad spend
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
