About the Role
The Marketing team is looking for a team member to staff B2C events where you will be a part of a small but mighty team whose goal is to promote Fix-it Group's brand and value prop to homeowners through a variety of events, sponsorships and activations.
You will work with partners across the department to develop and execute compelling experiences that demonstrate our unique value to homeowners and increase Fix-it Group's brand awareness, affinity and engagement in ways that build membership programs and individual services. This includes Fix-it Group's partnerships with local league sports teams and local grass-roots events.
You will report into the Vice President of Marketing and partner with our other locations' Event Management team.

Compensation: $20/hour, approximately 20 hours per week

Responsibilities:
- Support the team through thoughtful event management and execution on projects that reflect our core revenue generating KPIs and differentiates Fix-it Group in the market, with specific attention to sports events
- Collaborate and support the organization in the production of customer events, category events and sponsorships
- Assist with daily development, production, and vendor relationships for assigned projects
- Assist with lead capture strategies and coordinate lead follow-up post-event.
- Track and measure event ROI using key metrics to analyze data and optimize future programs for maximum impact.
- Plan, lead, and oversee meaningful and impactful consumer interaction that drives local market buzz, including sampling programs, experiential marketing activations, and press events
- Monitor and submit weekly reports on sales performance, market trends, promotional events, and other account activities
Requirements:
- Coursework in Marketing
- Proficient at project management, communication, and organization
- Proven strong written and verbal communication skills
- Required night and weekend work
