Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for full time internship. In this position, you will gain hands on professional experience and learn how the department runs.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Create and schedule content for Wonderful Laboratories social media.
• Create a calendar of key dates for various social media posts
• Shadow team within the lab to understand the life of a sample from start to finish
• Learn how to take photos for future content.
• Build out a target list and background info of the top 20 growers
• Shadow Field Representative interact with customers at meetings.
• Attend 1-2 industry meetings to learn about key topics within CA agriculture.
• Field Sampling
• Shadow Field Tech and assist on delivering samples to different locations.

Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Must be a Wonderful Scholar in Sophomore, Junior, or senior year of college.
• Enrolled in accredited graduate or undergraduate degree program with studies focused in Agriculture Communications, Marketing, Sales related field preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

SPECIFIC KNOWELDGE, AND SKILLS:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to work autonomously.
• Energetic and able to tackle new projects and ideas.
• Ability to write and present reports as requested.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

LICENCES:

• CA Valid Driver’s License.

- Pay rate: $18.50/hr.
