    Job Description

    The Opportunity:

    The Marketing Manager role will focus on driving growth for Mattel’s Preschool Entertainment Brands, reporting directly to the Vice President of US Marketing. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our beloved preschool brands in a highly competitive market. You will play a key role in enhancing the relevance of our owned IP by connecting with a new generation through engaging content and innovative product offerings.

    As consumer media habits continue to evolve, we are committed to adapting our marketing strategies to stay ahead, making this a dynamic position for a marketing professional who thrives on staying current and creating impactful campaigns.

    In this role, you’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the brand, translating insights into actionable recommendations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring them to life. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential for success, as you’ll be presenting to internal stakeholders and externally to Retail Buyers during key show cycles.

    This position includes one direct report: an Associate Marketing Analyst.

    What Your Impact Will Be:

    • Manage day-to-day marketing activities, including insights collection and synthesis of performance or brand/products
    • Deliver item-level forecasting, tracking, and performance roll-ups to impact marketing strategy
    • Drive promotional plan and execution by brand and across customers
    • Develop your brands by activating key marketing programs in the US market
    • Drive marketing execution by leading a cross-functional team inclusive of Sales, Global Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, IMC, etc.
    • Manage annual budgets for media and non-media activities
    • Coach and develop a direct report

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Minimum 8 years’ experience (6 with MBA) in consumer or brand marketing
    • Advanced understanding of standard marketing techniques
    • Demonstrated leadership, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
    • Excellent written/verbal, attention to details, time management and quantitative/analytical skills required
    • Ability to take conclusions from data and communicate and present actionable insights to leadership and business executives.
    • People management experience preferred
    • Bachelors degree in marketing, business or related field; MBA preferred

    The annual base salary range for this position is between $118,000 and $147,000.
    **This range is indicative of projected hiring range, however annual base salary will be determined based on a candidate’s work location, skills and experience.
