National Marketing & Growth Strategy Manager
Overview: We’re seeking a strategic, results-driven leader who can develop marketing strategies that our national locations can replicate across different markets and create foolproof methods for acquiring new customers locally. This individual will serve as the central liaison between our internal teams, location managers, and external vendors—ensuring that our marketing initiatives drive business growth and strengthen our presence across the country. Additionally, this candidate will play a key role in managing our rebrand from The Flying Locksmiths to FlyLock Security Solutions across all locations.
Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas:
Develop Replicable Marketing Strategies & Local Customer Acquisition:
Design and implement robust marketing strategies that can be consistently replicated across national locations.
Develop proven methods and systems that empower local teams to generate and convert leads effectively.
Build and nurture relationships with location managers, providing tailored marketing guidance and support.
Vendor & Budget Management:
Oversee and vet third-party marketing vendors, ensuring contract compliance and high-quality service delivery.
Negotiate contracts and collaborate on co-branded initiatives and case studies with product manufacturers.
Team Leadership & Training:
Manage and mentor the digital marketing assistant, setting clear performance expectations and facilitating continuous skill development.
Guide and review local marketing initiatives including social media calendars, email campaigns, and periodic performance reports.
Meetings, Conventions & Corporate:
Professionally present marketing strategies, initiatives, and performance insights during national meetings, conventions, and other corporate events, ensuring clear communication of goals, results, and upcoming campaigns to internal teams and franchisees
Coordinate event logistics using tools like the Cvent app for sponsor management and scheduling.
Outsourced Marketing Oversight:
Maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing disciplines to effectively manage and vet outsourced technical teams.
Ensure all outsourced deliverables align with our strategic goals and quality standards.
Travel Requirements:
Travel to Boston a few times a year to train new franchises and attend key meetings.
Must-Have Skills:
Solid foundational understanding of digital marketing disciplines such as SEO and PPC.
Ability to evaluate outsourced technical work and provide strategic guidance without being involved in day-to-day execution.
Exceptional relationship-building skills with a proven track record in multi-location or national marketing environments.
Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for national conventions and large-scale calls.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce/Pardot).
Familiarity with CMS platforms, preferably WordPress with LAMP Stack experience.
Basic graphic design skills.
