Job Purpose:
The Marketing Specialist will work under the leadership of the Marketing Director, to support proposals, strategic plans, and other materials needed for company support. This includes document and presentation formatting and support, and coordination with clients. They will be instrumental in copywriting, editing, and proofreading technical documents. Formatting professional documents is also required. Attention to detail is a must! Additionally, the Marketing Specialist will support document and presentation formatting and coordination with clients. They will also assist in creating appealing marketing collateral graphics, images, and ads for GTG through digital and print media. They will help design marketing materials for campaigns, products or services, and will be expected to help prepare mailers, brochures, case studies, and any necessary items for conference attendance. They may design logos, brochures, postcards, flyers, signs, web site graphics, and other marketing collateral.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Assist with document formatting, review, finalization, and compilation using Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
Support the proposal document development, coordination, and submission process.
Assist with presentation development for all shortlist presentations, client presentations, and conferences on an as needed basis.
Client management: Posting documents for client review (SharePoint), performing edits from the client, and managing client requests.
Light editing of video files (cutting segments, adding bottom thirds, etc.).
Design supporting materials for the sales team and strategic plans (Adobe suite of products: InDesign, Illustrator, etc.).
Editing and proofreading proposals.
Formatting technical documents.
Writing and editing – newsletters, press releases, and case studies.
Help drive online traffic with web-related campaigns – email marketing, social media, and website updates.
Write, create, and edit online content.
Webinar coordination.
CRM management assistance (HubSpot).

Required Experience and Education:
Candidate must be able to work Eastern Standard Time.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or marketing.
Ability to plan and prioritize strategically.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail and proofreading.
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and responsiveness to emails and requests.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines – Flexible and resourceful.
Capability to create and complete several versions of designs, accept constructive feedback, and make changes up until the deadline with a focus on overall marketing performance and impact.
Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
Experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, CRM, email design, Google Analytics, and social media desired.
Experience with WordPress and website design desired.
Experience with designing multi-page design spreads for newsletters, (print and digital) digital booklets, etc.
