TideSmart seeks an experienced marketing tour manager for a consumer sampling tour this summer in New England.

- Lives in Maine, New Hampshire, or Massachusetts
- has experience in consumer branding, marketing tours, or a similar background
- can successfully operate the tour assets (Ford Transit van, Honda 3200 generator)
- is fully available for the tour duration and all scheduled marketing events
Anticipated employment dates: May 28th-October 30th
Duration: 52 paid event days between May 28th-October 30th
Estimated event days per month (does not include paid training and production time):
- 2 days/week in June
- 2 days/week in July
- 3 days/week in August
- 2 days/week in September
- 2 days/week in October
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for proper operation of the tour vehicle and assets; including coordinating maintenance with TideSmart.
- Operation of the tour vehicle in accordance with DOT codes, company policies, and procedures
- Successfully execute the client’s mobile sampling experience in alignment with program goals and company policies and procedures
- Act as on-site authority for all events
- Manage inventory, event set-up/breakdown, and technology throughout the tour
- Facilitate a welcoming, positive, and professional guest experience for all event attendees and client representatives
- Fulfill all communication and reporting obligations as defined in the tour manual and agreed upon during training.
- Exceptional punctuality for all events, set up, conference calls, and appointments during the length of tour.
- Ensure no intentional or negligent vehicle damage or lost vehicle articles.
Tour Manager- Individual Requirements:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Market Manager and/or Tour Manager in the experiential/events marketing industry or related field
- Able to provide a professional reference upon request.
- Able to successfully pass a background check, MVR check, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Must be comfortable driving long distances in a large vehicle
