Job Summary
K9s place in Melbourne, FL is seeking a motivated and outgoing Marketing and Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to our Director of Operations, ensuring they have all the information and resources they need to perform their best. Your responsibilities will include supporting the director of operations in managing clerical tasks and assisting with marketing campaigns via email and social media. The ideal candidate is highly organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Responsibilities
Create weekly marketing emails for current clients (Canva experience a plus)
Weekend Instagram stories (Sat/Sun)
Assist with monthly local off site events to include researching and helping choose the events we will attend
Assist with distributing in person marketing materials to the community
Assist with staff scheduling (company currently uses ADP)
Facility inventory to include marketing material inventory
Organize meetings and take accurate minutes as needed
Maintain an organized filing system
Develop, update, and maintain relevant office procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma/GED required, Associate’s degree or administrative training is preferred
Previous experience as an Administrative and/or Marketing Assistant or in a similar position
Familiarity with standard office equipment such as printers and fax machines
Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize projects
Hours Part time 9-5 3 days/week plus weekend social media and event responsibilities with the possibility of additional hours
