Our client, a law firm in Houston, Texas, with over 70 attorneys, is seeking a Marketing and Business Development Associate. This is an on-site, in-office position that reports to the Marketing Director and the stakeholders.

In this role, you will plan, coordinate, and implement marketing, business development, public relations, and client service activities for the firm’s practice groups and individual attorneys. The goal is to enhance visibility and brand recognition in order to strengthen and grow the firm’s client base. The ideal candidate will be skilled in executing comprehensive marketing strategies to attract new clients. This includes managing the firm’s online presence, creating engaging content, overseeing social media engagement, and coordinating traditional marketing efforts.

Requirements - Marketing Coordinator - Law Firm

• At least three years in legal marketing, ideally within a law firm environment
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• A proven record of strong leadership and in consensus-building, marketing management, and strategic planning
• Proficiency with various digital marketing software programs (content management, graphic design, email lists) and both traditional and digital marketing strategies
• Social media for business, including interpreting metrics
• Presentation and event planning expertise
• Outstanding writing and proofing skills, including press release and content writing
• Knowledge and adherence to the State Bar of Texas Rules on ethics in advertising
