General Position Description
Assist with the planning, development, communication,and implementation of new and existing marketing and communication initiatives. This includes:
Create Annual Strategy and Plan with direction from Board
Create and maintain Analytics dashboard
Engage with potential sponsors, donors, and volunteers.
Be a personal point of contact with donors and volunteers throughout the year
Market promote/advertise upcoming activities.
Participate in fundraising events.
Organize campaigns that will lead to donations.
Cultivate engaged donors to assist with fundraising events
Maintain excellent pipeline documentation on all contacts with information about donors.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media - Publish frequent communications regarding center activities and events.
Newsletters - create and distribute monthly
Publish event communications coordination and communications
Create various types of presentations by the Director and board
Track various fundraising activities, update as needed.
Dynamic Website updates - Communicate various center activities as required
Conduct surveys and assessments, and publish results
Perform additional responsibilities as needed
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
Proficient in Microsoft office suite - Excel, Word and Powerpoint at a minimum.
Marketing and Communications experience - minimum 1 year
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Marketing, Sales, Communications, or related field is a plus
Data Analytics and Data Management experience is a plus.
Web site development & design experience is a plus
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, and interpersonal skills.
