Overview of the Company:

Mentored by the Director of Programs, our part-time Marketing and Events Assistant plays a vital role in shaping our organization's culture and expansion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coach 10-15 classes weekly
- Attend weekly meetings
- Answer in-office phones promptly
- Adhere to events budget and processes
- Assist in organizing and executing external and internal events
- Contribute to social media growth and engagement
- Aid in the execution of "Player of the Week" program
- Distribute the quarterly newsletter to partners and potential partners
- Understand and comply with State and Federal Regulations in educational and recreational settings
- Work autonomously and collaboratively
- Grow existing accounts through effective communication and a growth mindset
- Adhere to deadlines and execute Guerrilla Marketing tactics

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum commitment of 1 year
- Reliable transportation for travel within San Diego and San Diego County
- Completion of Mandated Reporter Training
- Continued training in Child Development, Education, and Leadership
- Availability during 90% of Soccer Shots business hours, including occasional weekends
- Proficiency in communication with the Soccer Shots office while in the field
- Enrollment in or completion of Title 22 Early Childhood Education units
- Enthusiastic representation of the company's brand and mission
- Organizational skills for inventory management and event planning
- Ability to engage with enrolled families and potential prospects
- Familiarity with social media content creation and growth
- Active research and learning about social and generational trends

Compensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Soccer Shots is an engaging soccer program for children ages 2 to 8. Our goal is to leave a positive and lasting impact on kids by introducing them to sports and activities.

Our coaches are at the heart of what we do, our real MVPs if you will. They create smiles and deliver character-building FUN by teaching age-appropriate soccer skills to kids in the local community.

1. Training - We make sure our coaches are comfortable on the field by offering informative online & in-person training to equip coaches with our curriculum and helpful (developmentally appropriate) coaching techniques.
2. Curriculum – Our curriculum is FULL of the stuff kids and parents love! Our program is curriculum-based, so coaches are provided with session guides and mobile-friendly resources to help you deliver the Soccer Shots experience.
3. Ongoing feedback and growth opportunities - We're a growing business and are always looking to find passionate and reliable team members to help us continue to grow.
4. Equipment - We provide everything you need for a Soccer Shots session in an on-the-go bag that fits in the trunk of a car. That's why we can have Soccer Shots in convenient locations like school gyms, classrooms, outdoor spaces, local parks, and community centers.
5. Opportunities to provide feedback - We value the feedback of our dedicated team and want to know how to make our program better for the families we serve, and our coaches.
