  • Responsibilities

    The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing various marketing and outreach activities to enhance the organization's visibility, engage with the community, and support strategic growth initiatives. This role will also serve as a vital backup for both the Business Development Director, Facilities and Training Manager and Human Resources, ensuring continuity in operations and providing critical support across departments.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Marketing

    • Website Updates: Keeping content fresh, relevant, and up to date to improve user experience and engagement. Regularly update website materials to ensure information is aligned with our branding and strategic goals.
    • Social Media Management: Oversee social media platforms, creating content and engaging with the online community to expand our digital presence. (Expand to Tik Tok and YouTube for video engagement).
    • Newsletter Management: Create and distribute engaging newsletters to our audience, maintaining consistent communication and promoting organizational updates.
    • Designing/Ordering Merchandise: Develop and source branded merchandise to support marketing campaigns and enhance brand visibility.
    • Print Material Coordination and Distribution: Design, produce, and distribute print materials such as brochures, flyers, banners, and advertisements to promote events and programs. Assist with preparing materials for outreach events and coordinating deployment and return of materials.
    • Flyers/Banners/Advertisements: Design and distribute promotional materials for events, campaigns, and other organizational initiatives.

    Outreach

    • Outreach Activities: Act as primary contact for all outreach activities; schedule and locate new community events; build relationships with key partners and represent the organization at events as needed. Coordinate staff to attend events, log events in database, and organize outreach materials. Manage recruitment of volunteers.

    Administration

    • Development of monthly CEO Report for distribution to all staff and Board of Directors
    • Development of Annual Report for the agency; files annual report with the Secretary of State.
    • Act as United Way liaison and manage fundraising campaign annually.

    Qualifications/Essential Functions:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
    • Two-five years of experience in marketing, outreach, or a related role.
    • Proficiency in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
    • Experience with video editing, graphic design, and web management is a plus.
    • Software: Windows Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint) Canva, Adobe.
    • Flexibility to travel to events, occasionally outside of regularly scheduled hours.
