JPCL Engineering is seeking a career-oriented marketing professional, with proposal experience, to support the firm’s continued growth. The Marketing Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for executing both traditional day-to-day marketing tasks and supporting the Business Development team’s strategic goals. This position is full-time and based in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
Job Duties:
Lead the coordination, production and execution of activities in support of various letters of intent (LOIs), statements of qualifications (SOQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualifications (RFQs), and award submittals.
Collaborate with Proposal Managers and leaders to assist in strategies, develop proposal text, and ensure quality and adherence to submittal requirements and delivery deadlines.
Participate in proposal production, including formatting, proof reading, editing, coordinating, and expediting the proposal process for final production and submission to the client.
Coordinate with prime and/or sub consultants to gather/provide proposal materials.
Assist with other business development/marketing efforts including, but not limited to:
Coordinating efforts to promote the firm through advertising, social media, public relations, conventions, events, and other media outreach programs.
Preparing and managing dry-run presentations.
Scheduling & attending client meetings.
Responding to custom qualifications and presentations.
Tracking leads and opportunities including, but not limited to, RFQ’s, RFP’s, LOI’s, etc.
Creating promotional items, brochures, and other items.
Scheduling photography and/or photographing finished projects.\
Coordinating corporate headshots. • Maintain vital business development documentation including, but not limited to:
Proposal tracking
Project summary sheets
Pre-qualifications
Technical certifications
Vendor registrations
Licenses & memberships
Contract document filing
Resumes
As requested by the business development team, gather and analyze data related to markets, competitors, and prospects; social, cultural, and economic conditions; and regulatory changes as they affect markets.
Support other company-wide business development needs as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or a related field preferred
3-5 years of experience working in a marketing/proposal department at an architectural/engineering firm or similar experience.
Experience in copywriting, layout, composition and graphic design.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat DC.
Ability to create innovative and aesthetically pleasing document designs and layouts for proposals and other marketing materials using and adhering to company style guidelines.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter with excellent communication (verbal and written), personal and organizational skills.
Ability and willingness to work collaboratively.
Ability to work in a fast‐paced, deadline‐driven work environment.
Preferred Qualification Requirements:
Experience with the Adobe suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Canva.
Ability to translate abstract or complex information/narratives into infographics to effectively illustrate ideas.
Experience with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.).
Knowledge of marketing/proposal automation platforms.
