The Head Instructor is primarily responsible for leading quality and safe classes which improve the abilities of students. This position reports directly to the Chief Instructor and/or School Manager. Instructors will follow the example and guidelines set forth by the Chief Instructor/School Manager and will be dedicated to the highest level of development of the students and the school.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach high quality, exciting and safe classes which help students improve both their mental and physical abilities.
Teach life lessons and prepare students for their next belt level, if applicable.
Track students’ attendance.
Make attendance calls for all students who have been with the school for three (3) months or more.
Schedule and teach “extra help” sessions for students.
Teach and nurture the Leadership Team and Assistant Instructors.
Promote upcoming school events.
Re-motivate disenchanted students.
Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Previous Martial Arts experience required, Black Belt preferred. Resume must provide details of Martial Arts experience or it will be automatically rejected.
