  • Responsibilities

    Mary Crane Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Aide to join our team.


    **** Key Responsibilities:

    • ****Handles the requirements for record-keeping for all health folders at all the Centers.
    • Maintain and update health schedules and records health information in individual student health records.
    • Maintain and monitor health supplies, diabetes/ first ID kits, and related materials.
    • Follow-up on health care referrals by health care providers and assist families in accessing needed services.
    • Maintain site lists of significant health conditions and children receiving medication.
    • Maintain and update centralized health records
    • Download and update file health information from CSD cares
    • Discreetly handles (while adhering to confidentiality standards regarding children's records) sensitive information pertaining to children and families.
    • Assist with recruiting and enrolling new parents for the program.

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or enrollment in a GED Program.
    • CPR and first aid techniques, as well as health and safety regulations.
    • Possess good communication skills.
    • Desire to continue career advancement.

    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentational skills.
    • Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with administration, staff, consultants, regulators, and founders in a team-oriented environment.
    • Capacity to assume responsibility for own professional development.
    • Detail-oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem-solving.
    • Ability to plan and schedule the work of others.
    • Flexible, with the ability to work in a highly demanding, stressful environment.
    • Proficiency using Microsoft Office. · Ability to cooperate successfully as a team member.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with others, including giving and receiving feedback on the quality of services.
    • Meet any specific content area requirements.
