Position: Massage Therapist (Contract, Full-Time or Part-Time)

Job Summary: Responsible for providing superior customer service while providing massage therapy and other body treatments to our customers based on their needs and preferences.

Primary Responsibilities:

Providing superior customer service

Greet customers upon arrival and guide them through our list of products and services

Maintain a presentable and professional appearance for our customers

Massages customers and administers other body conditioning treatments for hygienic or remedial purposes: Applies lubricants or other rubbing compounds

Massages body, using such techniques as kneading, rubbing, and stroking flesh, to stimulate blood circulation, relax contracted muscles, facilitate elimination of waste matter, or to relieve other conditions, using hands or vibrating equipment

May administer steam or dry heat, ultraviolet or infrared, or water treatments on request of customer or instructions of physician

May give directions to clients in activities, such as reducing or remedial exercises

May examine client and recommend body conditioning activities or treatments

May record treatments furnished to customers

Clean around station, shop, bar, spa, restrooms and assist in washing/drying towels

Up-sell treatments and products, when appropriate

Take an interest in customers

Responsible for managing inventory and supply management

Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Stock shelves with products

Systems utilization to schedule, view, communicate and check out patrons

Promote services

Participate in continuing education programs, trainings and staff meetings

Maintain required licenses

Adhere to all regulatory, safety and sanitation policies and procedures

Perform any other duties assigned by the owner and manager
