    Job Titles: Master Fabrication Welder

    Pay Rate: $26.40 - $35.00/hr(Depending on skills/experience)

    Hours of Work: Day shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm

    Location: 3405 6th Avenue So., Seattle, WA 98134

    Representation: After 30 days required to become a dues paying or financial core member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local Union No. 104.

    _Job Summary:
    _
    Skilled in GTAW and GMAW welding of stainless steel and other nonferrous alloys for the fabrication of pipe spools and ASME code assemblies. Proficient in setting up welding equipment from scratch and troubleshooting machines as required. Capable of interpreting drawings, sketches, and welding procedures. Adept at organizing work, assisting fellow/other welders, and taking weld tests to qualify WPS/PQR and WPQs when necessary. Utilizes strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively coordinate shop operations and ensure smooth workflow.

    _Required Essential Job Skills/Experience:
    _
    1. Ability to read welding symbols, drawings, prints and pipe standards.
    2. Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
    3. Completed welding training program, able to do MIG and TIG welding, and pass welding test on stainless steel pipes 3” diameter to 24” diameter.
    4. Ability to lift/maneuver up to 50 pounds occasionally and 51-100 pounds rarely.

    _Required Essential Duties/Functions:

    1. Weld pipe/fittings, tanks, and heat exchangers.

    Desirable Job Skills/Experience:
    1. Ability to operate lift truck and pendant operated overhead crane.
    2. 5 to 10 years experience in GMAW and GTAW welding.
    3. Experience using positioning equipment such as turntables and tank rolls.
    4. Experience welding aluminum and copper nickel and other non-ferrous alloys.
    5. Supervisory and training skills.
