Our Ideal Candidate We are seeking an on-site, motivated Material Handler 1/Forklift Operator for our Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, location. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, be willing to learn and grow, be dependable, and come in each day with a positive attitude and desire to get things done!

Responsibilities

· Receive, distribute and store materials, supplies, and finished products in designated secure locations manually, using a hand truck, or forklift

· Prepare and maintain computer-based records of materials received and shipped, including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information

· Complete daily production sheets or work tickets to record the number of units moved or managed

· Maintain a clean and organized work area

· Other duties as assigned

Requirements

· Demonstrated experience safely operating a forklift, lift truck and hand truck

· Ability to follow directions and handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Adhere to safety guidelines

· Work efficiently

· Good verbal and written communication skills

· Good organizational skills and attention to detail

· Basic math skills

· Prior use of Microsoft Office suite or related software

· Ability to quickly learn and utilize internal computer programs

· Ability to tolerate prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer

· Ability to lift up to 60 pounds

· Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable movement of entire body (e.g., walking, bending, lifting, climbing, balancing, stooping, carrying)

· Must wear safety gear when handling box cutters or similar tools

Education/Experience

· Six or more months of material handling experience required

· High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Compensation

· $20.00 per hour
