MATERIAL INSPECTOR MX Customs Inspections
Summary: We are looking for an inspector to perform daily material inspections for our different clients and achieve an appropriate level of inspections within time limits. Perform activities such as, product Inventories per client, Inventories of raw materials, Inspections, as well as administrative activities of the department.
Responsibilities: • Follow indications in the Internal Work Regulations regarding safety. Must be cautious not to damage any equipment, materials, facilities, or any other resources when doing the regular inspection’s tasks. • Perform activities according to the method, instructions and specifications authorized and applicable to the Mexican Customs Department. • Compare and ensure that the material received meets the quality and customer’s standards. • Compare and assure, the material matches the information on the documents. • Focus efforts on continuous improvement according to the established objectives, • and always maintain great customer service. • Close communication with all our customers and always be up to date on the new materials and products for import permits. • Perform activities such as product Inventories per client, Inventories of raw materials, Inspections, as well as administrative activities of the department. • Responsible for developing, controlling, and continuously monitoring the project assigned. • Keep track of incident reports related to daily Inspection’s operation.
Requirements: • Experience on Custom documents (invoice, Cove, pediment, DODA, Manifests, shippers etc.). • Keep track of incident reports related to daily inspection’s operation. • Knowledge of warehouse software packages and MS Office proficiency • Ability to input, retrieve and analyze data. • Hands-on commitment to getting the job done. • Proven ability to direct and coordinate operations. • Strong organizational and time management skills • Bilingual (Spanish and English).
