  • Responsibilities

    General Responsibilities:

    • Perform cross-functional job assignments within the assigned department, following established procedures and work guidelines.
    • Take on additional responsibilities assigned by management.

    _ Key Responsibilities:_

    • Serve as the primary customer service contact for assigned programs.
    • Schedule part numbers in JIT (Just-In-Time) windows to align with assembly and production needs.
    • Manage Product Change Orders (PCO) and Product Change Requests (PCR), ensuring accurate part number set up.
    • Track and forecast future material demand for efficient planning.
    • Oversee logistics for JIT deliveries and unplanned shipments.
    • Maintain accurate inventory records of raw material and finished goods.
    • Collaborate closely with Manufacturing Operations and other departments to ensure seamless materials management and delivery performance.
    • Schedule raw materials and/or injection molding processes to support production suing MRP systems.
    • Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding delivery schedules, order quantities, and purchased materials.
    • Manage Engineering Changes (ECNs) as they relate to materials planning and procurement.
    • Set up materials for new product launches.
    • Ensure inventory accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts.
    • Investigate and resolve significant inventory variances.

    ** Qualifications & Skills:**

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field, OR 1-3 years of equivalent experience.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other computer applications.
    • Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as QAD, MP2, and AS400 (preferred).
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Attention to detail, ability to multitask, and follow directions effectively.
    • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to analyze inventory data.

    Work Environment:

    • Office and manufacturing environment with occasional supplier/customer interactions.
    • Fast-paced setting requiring flexibility to address production and supply chain challenges.
