Description of First Steps Program

The Mathnasium First Steps program for Pre-K and K students teaches the foundational skills and concepts of math through a fun and interactive experience.

First Steps Instructor Job Description

Mathnasium of Chicago - West Loop is looking an enthusiastic individual who is able to engage with and adapt to the needs of young children while teaching our First Steps program. We serve our students year-round, so this is an opportunity for regular, part-time work. Our instructors love math and communicate that love to their students through excellent instruction, eye-to-eye contact, and big smiles!

Qualifications and Skills

Demonstrates a passion for early childhood education

Is a patient and nurturing educator

Exhibits high-energy, enthusiasm, and patience

Possesses positive behavior management skills
