Position Summary
The Mathnasium Center Director is responsible for successfully managing the educational, customer, administrative, sales, and employee aspects of a Mathnasium Learning Center. In synopsis, they are responsible for the educational success of every student, parent satisfaction and loyalty, lead conversion and sales, as well as the selection, training, and development of employees to fulfill center staffing needs. Center Directors are capable of effectively balancing educational duties, such as administering assessments and diagnosing student learning gaps, administrative duties, such as creating student binders and keeping the center clean, sales duties, such as responding to leads and successfully enrolling customers, and employee development/manager duties, such as proper scheduling and providing on the job training/coaching. Center Directors are passionate about helping students learn math and achieve educational success. Center Directors are also passionate about developing employees into leaders and fostering a collaborative team. Center Directors effectively cultivate talent and delegate tasks and duties properly to team members to ensure the center is running efficiently. The Mathnasium Center Director operates the day-to-day functions of a center and is the highest level of leadership in the center; they assume responsibility for providing service to students and parents, grow enrollments, and effectively lead and manage the center team.
Role:
Center Principles, Educational Experts, & Administrators:
Run the day-to-day operations and manage all aspects of the center to ensure it runs efficiently
Assume accountability and responsibility of ensuring every student is properly diagnosed, prescribed an effective Learning Plan, and progresses through their plan to achieve educational success
Ensure students are receiving exceptional instruction
Take accountability of students achieving educational success
Administer assessments, identify student learning gaps, set students up with customized Learning Plans, and facilitate the learning required for students to attain success
Conduct all the administrative duties of running a math learning center, including managing the scheduling of employees, utilizing center management software, creating binders for students, and ensuring the center is running smoothly
Relationship Builders, Sales Manager, and Customer Service Executives
Successfully sell the Mathnasium program, build relationships with parents and leads, and achieve optimal customer satisfaction
Build relationships with potential customers, parents, guardians, and students to sell the Mathnasium program and ensure exceptional customer service/satisfaction
Take accountability of center enrollment, effectively sell the Mathnasium program, and create additional program value to retain parents/students
Customer focused in order to overcome obstacles to selling the program, alleviate any issues customer experience, and resolve most customer service complaints
Leaders, Motivators, and Talent Managers:
Screen, hire, train, motivate, and develop employees to effectively staff the center for maximum student engagement and efficiency
Build trust with team members, establish effective manager-employee relationships, and nurture talent to fulfill center staffing needs
Inspire, motivate, lead, and develop team members at multiple positions effectively and simultaneously
Identify talent in team members and develop them professionally and personally
Business, Office, and Facilities Managers:
Take accountability of overall center performance, profitability, and success as it relates to lead conversion and enrollments
Keep track of and monitor center key performance indicators
Provide insight on creating and achieving strategic center business goals
Monitor and update the center exterior to attract leads and the center interior to help facilitate a pleasing environment for student instruction and lead conversion
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to conducting all the tasks and maintaining all the competencies of the center director position, Center Directors are required to have knowledge and be competent on all the tasks and competencies of the Instructor, Lead Instructor, and Assistant Center Director positions as well.
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Base Pay of $50K per year + performance-based bonus. First year compensation target is estimated to be $65K - $75K.

Qualifications:
Graduated from high school, associate degree preferred
3-5 years progressive career growth in management or consultative sales
Experience managing in a virtual operations and team environment
Background in academic services/ education / consultative sales / hospitality / multi-unit services/ health and wellness services
Experience in recruiting, leading, and developing effective teams, including virtually
Understanding the local school system preferred
Highly proficient in online meeting platforms, google suites, as well as supporting technical knowledge
Ability to travel to operating locations nearby, as well as in-person meetings as needed (less 10%)
