As the Outreach Coordinator/Admin Assistant, you will be working side-by-side with our Owner, Center Director and Assistant Center Director to create and maintain a successful, high-paced, fun learning environment for our students and families.

At Mathnasium we help kids in grades K4-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.

Description of the Position: The school and community outreach assistant must be a bright and enthusiastic person, able to partner with local schools and organizations at the Brandon and Riverview locations and assist with our internal operations regarding customer service. This person will need strong communication skills, enthusiasm for students/education, and a tenacious personality. They must have excellent time management skills and be detail oriented. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling and ongoing training opportunities. HOURS: Approximate 12-15 hours a week M-TH 3:00-6:00 PM (FLEXIBLE) EVENTS TO BE DETERMINED

Job Responsibilities:

Building new relationships & maintaining current relationships with local schools

PTA outreach and engagement and track sponsorships

Coordinate and attend Math/STEM events at schools

Attend other local networking & community events.

Care Calls, Referrals, Parent satisfaction

Develop yearly marketing plan

Design, order and put together materials for marketing (banners, documents, etc…)

Assist in developing a plan to increase exposure in the community.

Implementing and continuing Center Activities and student incentives

Tracking, restocking and organizing supplies in the center

Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Eagerness to learn and be trained

Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities

Social Media and marketing experience

Proficiency in computer skills

Excel spreadsheets

Math proficiency is not required but appreciated
