Position Summary:

Mathnasium Lead Instructors are passionate about helping students learn math and achieve educational success.

The ideal candidate is ambitious, highly motivated, enthusiastic, warm, and caring. They have great leadership abilities that can inspire other instructors and build teamwork. They are organized and efficient and able to help out the center director with administrative work to support students at the center.

The Mathnasium Lead Instructor is responsible for effectively balancing educational duties, such as leading the instructional floor, administering assessments and diagnosing student learning gaps, with administrative duties, such as creating student binders and keeping the center clean, and processing student enrollments, as well as employee development/manager duties, such as providing on-the-job training/coaching.

Critical Objectives:

Oversees the floor during Instructional Hours

Assists the Center Director with student admin work

Serve as the point person in case the Center Director is unavailable

Provide exceptional math instruction using the Mathnasium Method

Responsibilities:

Lead designated center management activities and provide management support to the Center Director

Lead employees in providing exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students

Provide exceptional customer service

Cultivate teamwork and collaboration with team members to deliver the best possible experience to students

Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

A passion for math and working with students

Excellent interpersonal skills

Willingness to learn and be trained

Willingness to learn how to conduct and assist with sales

Willingness to develop leadership abilities
