THE OPPORTUNITY:  Mattel is currently seeking Undergraduate Development Program Manager Interns Summer Interns. Our internship program is driven by a single focus: to find our future leaders. We encourage interns to push boundaries because we want to see how far you might take us some day. We provide you with phenomenal managers, mentors and buddies to help you accomplish more than you would have thought possible. And we team you up with other interns because every great thing that comes out of Mattel is done as a team. The Undergraduate Intern Program runs 10-12 weeks and based at headquarters in Middleton, WI.

WHAT YOUR IMPACT WILL BE:  

• Research and provide solutions to solve complex problems using engineering principles 
• Assist in translating specifications and requirements into engineered solutions with speed and innovation in mind 
• Review concept sketches and provide technical support or product engineering for products 
• Work with global team of Engineers and Designers

Qualifications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

• Enrolled in an accredited university as a rising senior, graduating in 2022  
• Majoring in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study  
• Detail-oriented, organized, methodical, process-oriented thinker  
• Effective time manager - able to juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities   
• Self-starter capable of working effectively independently or as part of a team  
• Possess good mechanical aptitude in the area of generating creative, simple mechanical solutions and troubleshooting existing mechanism  
• Accuracy and attention to detail  
• Intent listening skills with ability to apply learnings  
• Ability to be flexible to changing business priorities
