  • Responsibilities

    MaxLinear is seeking a current Bachelors or Masters’ degree student for a Software Development Internship in our Valencia design center. The student will participate in a project to develop a protocol to capture physical signals measured by devices. In the project the intern must extend the current process to enable concurrency and integrate the measurement functionality to the current customer’s management tools (Spirit Config Tool, Spirit Pro controller, etc). Improve the tools interface for a better integration with provided C++ libraries.

    To accomplish this project you will be focus on:

    • Understand physical parameters in communication protocols.
    • Efficient and reusable design to be used in embedded system and host platforms.
    • Reuse of existing software modules and libraries. Integration of Java and C++ libraries.
    • Design of multi-platform graphical interface application.
    • Create a complete documentation: user guide and developer guide.

    Required Skills

    • Hands on experience in software development, C, C++ language and embedded systems.
    • Java and development of multiplatform Gui Applications
    • Communication protocols knowledge
    • Design for graphical interface application
    • Self-motivated, team building, and excellent communication skills.
    • Student of BSc or MSc degree
