SCALE MASTER / OFFICE ASSISTANT TRAINEE

Leading Northeast Ohio recycler has immediate need for a motivated "career oriented" Scale Master Assistant Trainee , capable of acquiring the complete knowledge, understanding and skill of the position, essentially becoming adept, proficient and comfortable with most, if not all, Scale Receiving operations. This is a relatively sedentary job requiring little to no time standing or performing any type of physical labor; you may, occasionally perform basic general office duties, though essentially, you will learn and train to manage the Scale Receiving operation. Working almost entirely inside the Scale Office, you will attend to customers in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner, accurately weigh and pay via our on-site ATM (no cash or money transactions required). You will do your best to make customers feel appreciated and their material is purchased by us at appropriate prices and ensure the customer has a pleasant experience in our facility. Part of the customer service function may include assisting with or actually developing any variety of social media networking, advertising and advertising designs for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, social news, media sharing, etc. in an effort to find new and engage with current customers, drive sales via social media advertising and promotion, gauge consumer trends, and offer customer service or support necessary to help build customer relationships through loyalty programs linked to social media. New, fresh ideas are definitely welcome. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain experience in the lucrative metals recycling industry, especially now, with conserving natural resources and recycling becoming a requirement for companies to compete in the global marketplace.
