COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION:  Commission based.  MOST SPECIALISTS MAKE BETWEEN 45K - 50K DURING THEIR 1ST YEAR.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SPECIALIST ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Employee Benefits Specialist will develop new business relationships along with servicing currents businesses by providing employee benefit plans through payroll deduction.

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SPECIALIST REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Familiarity with computer and smart phone applications
• Ability to give in-person and virtual presentations
• Sales, marketing, insurance experience is preferred but not required
• Pre-existing relationships in prior B2B work with some book of business to prospect a plus 
• Louisiana Life, Health, & Accident License required
• Background check required; Valid Drivers license is required; Must have access to a vehicle everyday

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete our on boarding process & training program (classroom & field training with supervisor).
• Establish new relationships with companies through a company supplied lead system, networking, social media, field marketing, referrals & warm leads through new business relationships.
• Meet with Business Owners, identify their business needs, discuss our No-Cost Business Solutions, schedule employee education meetings & enroll employees in our benefit program
• Enroll new hires as needed & assist with billing, invoicing, claims & policyholder servicing.
• LEADERSHIP POSITIONS are available within 4 to 6 months as long as agreed-upon goals are achieved & this would allow an individual to build their own agency WITH NO START-UP COSTS OR INVESTMENTS.
