    Job Description

    We are looking for a Manager to be a part of the Learning & Development Center of Excellence during a period of unprecedented innovation and advancement. With a long-standing commitment and investment in L&D, our strategy seeks to further evolve and accelerate learning as an imperative for our business across the McDonalds system.

    In this role, you will partner widely with Global Learning and Development Leadership Team and the markets and supporting functions within the business units to build the operational excellence infrastructure for Learning and Development globally. You will evolve, imagine and ultimately build the Strategy and Operations service line within the Global L&D Center of Expertise (COE).

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Must be fully vaccinated (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) for COVID-19 and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date. 
    • Financial Planning Finance oversight, planning, & projection delivery for 5 Global and 4 US L&D budget accounts (6x a year) – 9 budgets total, including both G&A + PPM; Totaling $30M+
    • Identify finance insights and support funding key priorities
    • Provide thought partnership, financial guidance, and stewardship through tracking, counsel, guidance, and regular communication/ updates to ensure visibility and accuracy
    • Serve as Global People partner to the Finance / CCG team Budgeting
    • Track and record all spend variances, including stopped work, new work and people shifts through variance analysis, record keeping, invoice processing, and journal entry chargebacks
    • Manage any needed additions, reductions, self-solves, etc. 2022 Budget plan and proposal delivery for US & Corp.
    • Vendor management (onboarding, Beeline, GSSS Liaison, supplier governance)
    • Manage projection and forecasting process Analytics + Insights
    • Manage QBR Process & Meetings Build scorecards with key measurement + KPIs
    • Provide insights and foresights to L&D value and impact (both leading and lagging indicators)
    • Thought leadership on global KPIs + Create consistency for reporting Phase Planning
    • Lead phase planning and annual planning process and serve as liaison with Leadership Team, Markets, PMO, and strategy team Manage calendaring and deployment integration
    • Act as change management lead, partnering with L&D Ops Managers to integrate the team globally
