    Job Description

    POSITION PURPOSE

    This Security Service Manager will be responsible for managing and enhancing key identity management services: Global Authentication Service, Virtual Directory Service, Crew Access Manager and Global Consumer Access.  These services are used by over a million McDonald’s people and tens of millions of customers.

    This Security Service Manager will be responsible for managing the vendors that support these services and ensuring

    the operational performance, support, and availability of these services. 

    The Global Identity platform is undergoing a major upgrade and this Security Service Manager will be responsible for managing the development team, maintaining the schedule, and working with stakeholders to ensure enhancements meet their needs.  The development and support teams are primarily located in Europe.

    This person will understand and help influence the high-level strategy and direction of leadership and lead the team in the execution of projects and daily activities as well as set clear expectations, goals, and requirements that must be obtained as a measure of success.   This person will work closely with the other Global Identity and Access service managers to ensure the solutions provided to customers are performing to expectation. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

    • Lead strategic vendor partnerships with a focus on delivering efficient and secure solutions in a timely manner.
    • Drive strategic design, implementation, and support deployment processes as well as proactively develop and implement regular improvement priorities.
    • Be a creative solution provider with the ability to translate customer/business needs into technical solutions.
    • Ensuring the operational reliability and stability of Global Role Manager, Global PKI and GIA Monitoring Service.
    • Participate in the design or improvement stages of product development adding input or offering technical or process driven suggestions to ensure product teams understand any potential security risks and comply with current security standards.
    • Work with peers in GTRM as well as other IT groups and third parties to identity upcoming business or technical needs and develop solutions within a clear platform roadmap.
    • Ensure the organization has the necessary identity and access capabilities to align with all laws, regulations and internally developed standards and policies.
    • Maintain balanced and measured accountability between McDonald’s and its suppliers and ensure accurate service support documentation is in place to facilitate this accountability.

    Qualifications

    Must have received or be willing to receive the COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience
    • Experience in multi-national / global organizations
    • 8+ years of progressive IT industry experience
    • Solid history of growing and running vendor partnerships
    • Ability to develop strategic direction and objectives without supervision

    DESIRED EXPERIENCE

    • Experience with Sailpoint Identity IQ, Microsoft PKI, and/or Azure Monitoring.
    • Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum
    • Familiarity with the ITIL operating model, other operational skills such as Six Sigma a plus
