Job Description
An Operations Technology Manager is a diverse and immersive role, that works with our McDonald’s Headquarters (MHQ) departments, Franchisees, and Operations Teams. This team will count on the OTM to be the Operations Technology SME for their assigned area!
Primary customers include McDonald’s Owner Operators and Field Office Leadership. The role reports directly to the US Operations Field Integration Director. Their primary customers are the assigned Field Operations Officer, Operations staff, Owner/Operators, and their teams.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
OPERATIONS TECHNOLOGY DEPLOYMENT - you will partner with the Field Office Operations, PMO counterparts and Deployment Teams to ensure Technology Deployment is aligned and sequenced with other initiatives and effectively implemented. The role also supervises progress against projected timing and KPIs. You will act as the subject matter expert for all operations-related technology and liaison between their assigned Field Office, Initiative Planning and Development (IPD) team, and US Operations Restaurant Technology team (USORT).
OPERATIONS INTEGRATION - in this role you will support the Operations Officer and their team becoming a SME on Operations Technology initiatives and nationally sponsored innovations to help ensure successful execution within their assigned areas. You will Maintain a detailed level of understanding of both restaurant operations and related technologies, remembering that our restaurant operations are a primary focus of our business. It educates primary customers on technology investment strategies and is an advocate for the Owner/Operator and company, ensuring that both points of views are clearly communicated and aligned.
