Summary

Data Analysis Engineer 1 focus on foundational tasks such as data collection, and basic analysis. They play a crucial role in ensuring data accuracy and maintaining databases. The primary focus is on statistical data analysis, with an aim to incorporate more machine learning techniques in the future. A long-term goal is to help drive data-based decision-making within the foundry.

Data Collection and Management

1. Data Acquisition: Collect data from various sources, including sensors and production logs.
2. Data Cleaning: Ensure data accuracy by identifying and correcting errors.
3. Database Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain databases.

Data Analysis

1. Trend Analysis: Identify basic trends and patterns in production data.
2. Statistical Analysis: Apply simple statistical methods to analyze data.
3. Root Cause Analysis: Assist in investigating production issues.

Reporting and Visualization

1. Report Generation: Create simple reports to communicate findings.
2. Dashboard Development: Develop basic dashboards to visualize key metrics.
3. Data Presentation: Present data analysis results clearly.

Quality Control

1. Quality Metrics Monitoring: Monitor quality metrics to ensure compliance.
2. Defect Analysis: Assist in analyzing defects.
3. Quality Improvement Initiatives: Support quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
