Our café offers a range of food options to guests, and we’re seeking dedicated Meal Prep Associates to help manage food preparation, ensuring meals are heated and served efficiently.

Job Summary: As a Meal Prep Associate, you’ll be responsible for reheating pre-prepared meals, plating them, and ensuring they are presented attractively and served hot. You’ll work with a reheat oven, maintain proper food safety standards, and ensure that all meals are prepared on time for service during busy periods.

Key Responsibilities:

Reheat pre-prepared food items according to safety and quality standards.

Operate and maintain the reheat oven, ensuring that food is cooked to the appropriate temperature.

Plate and present meals in an appealing and efficient manner.

Follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling, reheating, and storage.

Assist in preparing the kitchen and food service areas for daily operations, including setup and cleaning tasks.

Monitor food stock levels, reporting low supplies or issues to management.

Work closely with café staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely food service.

Maintain cleanliness of the work area and adhere to sanitation procedures.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred.

Ability to safely handle reheating equipment, including ovens and kitchen tools.

Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly in a fast-paced setting.

Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.

Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
