POSITION SUMMARY:
Method Flow Products, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Measurement Technician I for preventative maintenance, equipment repair, and calibration on orifice meters, Coriolis, mag meters, and vortex meters. Method Flow is looking for an individual who has the desire to perform quality work in a safe manner, who is detail-oriented, and who has superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Safety is essential at Method Flow and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate.
- Demonstrated ability to calibrate per Method Flow Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to observe, inspect, and maintain gas and liquid meters.
- Must always maintain detailed calibration data and historical records.
- Must have the ability to detect measurement errors and correct the meter as necessary while maintaining detailed supporting documentation.
- Proficient in grind-outs for BSW meters.
- Effective troubleshooting ability. Skilled at replacing orifice meters, Coriolis, mag meters, and vortex meters.
- Skilled maintenance and calibration of portable 02 meters and hard mount 02 meters.
- Proficient in the process of LOTO.
- Responsible for the accuracy of service tickets and timely submission.
- Safely drive to customer locations and perform the required work in a safe manner.
- Develop and maintain relationships with employees as well as customers at all locations.
- Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.
- Conduct activities in a safe and healthy manner and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- $29.25-$33.26 per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods of time is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis is required. Exposure to moving parts and electricity that require safety protocols.
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required.
- Must have a valid driver’s license as well as a good vehicle record is required.
- Two to four years of experience in Oil and Gas is required.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel.
- Must have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product.
- Experience with hand-held tools and assembling parts.
- Experience with multimeters.
- Ability to effectively learn and acquire new knowledge and skills.
- Mechanical experience is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required.
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts.
