Dittmer's is seeking a Meat Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in a retail setting in order to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

Welcome and identify customer needs

Explain products and services to customers

Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock

Enter and process customer orders

Support the back of house butchers, sausage makers and smoke house operators.

Assist with sausage making

Qualifications:

Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Ability to build rapport with customers

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Dittmer's is an old fashion butcher shop that opened in 1978. DIttmer's makes over 100 specialty items including sausages, lunch meats and smoked meats. Our current store hours is Tuesday thru Saturday 9-4. Please visit our website to see some of of the products we make and fresh meat we sell.
