    1. Assist the Senior Mechanic in performing routine preventive maintenance tasks on fleet vehicles, including but not limited to oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, tire rotations, and inspections.

    2. Support the Senior Mechanic in conducting scheduled maintenance on pool maintenance equipment such as pumps, filters, and cleaning devices to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

    3. Assist in refueling and inspecting vehicles and equipment for signs of wear, damage, or potential issues, and address them promptly to prevent breakdowns and costly repairs.

    4. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including service schedules, repairs, and parts inventory.

    5. Collaborate with the Senior Mechanic to prioritize maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion of scheduled services.

    6. Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical issues under the guidance of the Senior Mechanic, and recommend appropriate solutions or repairs.

    7. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks, including proper handling of hazardous materials and use of personal protective equipment.

    8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the maintenance area, including tools, equipment, and storage areas.

    9. Update license tags for fleet vehicles as required by local regulations and maintain proper documentation.

    10. Assist in routine cleaning and maintenance of facilities, including eye wash stations, restrooms, and common areas.

    11. Assist in Facilities special projects and other duties as needed.

    Qualifications

    1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in automotive or mechanical fields is preferred.

    2. Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance practices is desirable.

    3. Computer knowledge a must.

    4. Strong willingness to learn and continue to develop mechanical skills.

    5. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment.

    6. Excellent attention to detail and willingness to perform administrative tasks as required.

    7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional overtime and weekend availability.

    8. Ability to lift up to 75lbs.

    9. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
