Responsibilities: • Perform advanced repair and maintenance tasks on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks specifically during the 2nd shift in Bossier City, LA, US. • Specialize in repairing chassis components, and maintaining refuse bodies, including control, hydraulic, and electrical systems, as well as air brake systems. • Demonstrate expertise in engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, and steering systems, in addition to HVAC components. • Utilize electronic tools for identifying malfunctions and executing complex repair duties both on-site and on the road. • Engage in all relevant Company training programs to stay updated on the latest technologies and equipment. • Be ready to undertake various assigned tasks and contribute positively to the community and the environment. • While waste hauling experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory for this role. Qualifications: • To be eligible for the Mechanic 2nd Shift role in Bossier City, LA, US, possessing a valid Driver’s License is a must. • The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of practical experience working on heavy-duty trucks as a technician. • Proficiency in independently conducting inspections and repairs on various heavy truck and automotive systems is a key requirement for this position. • While holding ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1-T8) is beneficial, it is not obligatory. • Previous exposure to LNG and/or CNG is considered advantageous although not obligatory. • Having a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License would be advantageous, but it is not a compulsory requirement.
