    Shift: 1st Shift Monday – Friday

    Responsibilities:

    • Performs a variety of mechanical assembly duties such as riveting and drilling to bond composite assemblies as well as ensure the parts and assembly meet requirements.

    • Loads and unloads molds in the oven/press/autoclave. Ensure accurate operation of ovens according to the specifications for the materials and bonding agents.

    • Check all work and ensure a defective free assembly prior to quality inspection.

    • Maintains and prepares materials for log tickets.

    • Maintains all tools, molds, fixtures and production equipment in the Composite Assembly area.

    • Follows company workmanship and quality standards.

    • Other assigned tasks by management.

    • Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • High School graduate or equivalent.
    • Minimum of 1 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Minimum of 1 years' of Assembly experience
    • Skilled in interpreting and working with detailed blueprints and work instructions.
    • Demonstrated ability to proficiently use a variety of power tools and hand tools.
    • Experience with riveting and drilling to bond assemblies.
    • Must be able to lift and push up to 25 lbs.

    Additional Preferred Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of the composite assembly process is preferred.
