Job Description:
Position Overview: The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical components and systems used in HVAC equipment. This role requires precision, technical skills, and a thorough understanding of mechanical assembly processes and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Work: Assemble various mechanical components, including frames, panels, and other HVAC equipment parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
Use of Tools: Utilize hand and power tools to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
Quality Control: Inspect and test assembled parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, materials used, and any issues encountered.
Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, technicians, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in mechanical assembly or a related field is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a related field is highly desirable.
Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks that require precise hand-eye coordination.
Communication: Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
