We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer proficient in SolidWorks to help design, develop, and improve mechanical systems and components. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and prototypes, ensuring that designs meet all functional, performance, and aesthetic requirements. Responsibilities: • Develop and design 3D models using SolidWorks for mechanical components and assemblies. • Create detailed 2D technical drawings, ensuring they meet industry standards and client requirements. • Working with engineers and other team members to refine designs and ensure they will meet requirements. • Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and other technical documentation as required. • Performing design analysis and simulations, and potentially conducting prototype testing to verify functionality and safety. • Creating and maintaining detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing. • Ensuring designs comply with company and industry standards, regulations, and building codes. • Continuously improve design processes and standards for efficiency and quality. • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production. • Identify and resolve design issues, ensuring solutions meet performance and safety requirements. • Stay up to date with the latest SolidWorks tools and design trends to implement best practices.
