    We are looking for a self-starter healthcare mechanical engineer to drive projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction. The engineer’s responsibilities include In this role, you will design, analyze, and develop mechanical systems and components to ensure they meet customer and project requirements. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver with a passion for engineering excellence and a commitment to quality.

    To be successful in this position you should want to work in the growth phase of a company, have a good understanding of healthcare construction technologies, and be an effective communicator. An outstanding Engineer will have strong interpersonal skills, demonstrate superior technical design skills and be able to create functional, creative, and sustainable designs.

    Design and Development: Create and refine mechanical systems and components using Revit and CAD software to fulfill technical and functional requirements.

    Analysis and Testing: Conduct simulations, stress tests, and quality checks to ensure products comply with safety and performance standards.

    Prototyping: Develop and test prototypes, making adjustments based on analysis and feedback to enhance designs.

    Project Management: Plan, execute, and oversee engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are achieved.

    Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and manufacturing teams, to integrate mechanical systems.

    Documentation: Create detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, and manuals. Maintain accurate records of project progress.

    Compliance: Ensure all designs meet the relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

    Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot issues in existing mechanical systems and propose solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness performance.

    Work Hours and Benefits

    This role will be required 80% in-office and 20% client meetings.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

    Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.

    Proficiency in Revit and CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).

    Strong understanding of mechanical systems, thermodynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.

    Experience with FEA and CFD tools for design optimization.

    Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

    Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Experience in healthcare is preferred.
