We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in manufacturing and research and development (R&D). The ideal candidate will be instrumental in designing, testing, and improving mechanical systems and processes to drive product innovation and optimize manufacturing operations. This role requires a unique blend of hands-on problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement. The ideal candidate would have proficient experience in injection mold design, sheet metal design, vacuum forming, and machine part design
Product Design and Development:
Collaborate with R&D teams to design, prototype, and test mechanical components and systems.
Develop detailed CAD models and engineering drawings to support product development.
Manufacturing Support:
Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical issues on the manufacturing floor, providing timely solutions to maintain production efficiency.
Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure products are designed for manufacturability and scalability.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and quality enhancements in both R&D and manufacturing.
Develop and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Collaboration and Communication:
Partner with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals.
Prepare technical documentation, including test plans, reports, and engineering change notices, to support project execution.
Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in mechanical engineering to drive innovation.
Evaluate and recommend tools, materials, and methods to enhance product performance and manufacturing processes.
