The company is a privately held contract manufacturing firm of composite material to the industrial, electronics, aerospace, and defense industries. A qualified candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of two (2+) plus years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, with experience in induction furnaces with a quartz crucible or a continuous melting furnace with a tungsten tube
• Proficiency in designing and optimizing mechanical systems for high-performance applications
• Experience with FEA tools (e.g. Comsol) for evaluating and enhancing designs
• Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience in a production or experimental environment
• Experience designing precious metal parts for high-temperature glass, conditioning, and fiber formation using advanced design tools is preferred
