The Mechanical Product Engineer is responsible for providing technical information and support to meet customer, installation, and shipment demands. This role involves creating technical drawings, managing part numbers, and collaborating across teams to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain technical drawings and bills of materials (BOM) for all product options and accessories.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of part numbers, descriptions, and inventory values within the ERP system.
- Maintain an open job log, prioritizing tasks to adhere to delivery schedules.
- Initiate engineering releases and purchase requisitions to support internal sales orders.
- Analyze customer requests and provide technical recommendations for optimal solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors on the selection, design, and delivery schedules of fixtures and tooling for turnkey projects.
- Troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions during the development of turnkey projects, in collaboration with relevant parties.
- Support special events and perform other related duties as needed.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in workholding and manufacturing.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks 3D modeling with 5+ years of experience in advanced functions.
- Strong understanding of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry, with at least 5 years of practical application.
- Experience applying mathematical concepts (e.g., probability, statistical inference) to real-world scenarios for 5+ years.
- Knowledge of pressure, flow, and volume calculations related to fluid and air applications (5+ years of experience).
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
