    Job Description

     

    SUMMARY:

    Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Director and CCC Compliance Reports Supervisor, the CCC Data Prep Coordinator/Analyst will be responsible for generating and automating health plan data using internal database reporting tools, on a routine and ad hoc basis, for completion of reporting requirements per IPA/Health Plan and will provide analyses of data for compliance purposes.  Analyses and findings will be communicated to the CCC Compliance Reports Supervisor for additional oversight and opportunities for process improvement.  In addition, the CCC Data Prep Coordinator/Analyst will be the SME in the development, implementation and analysis of data automation and integration projects.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Prepares all IPA/Health Plan Case management reports, Inpatient UR statistics, Inpatient reports ie: POD, In and Out of Network, Outlier, on a routine, ad hoc and/or as needed basis.
    • Responsible for submission of reports interdepartmentally and to external clients. 
    • Reviews and analyzes IPA/Health plan reporting data for compliance.  Provides feedback to the CCC Compliance Reports Supervisor of any trends, discrepancies or other findings as it relates to compliance requirements. 
    • Prepares all IPA/Health Plan JOM packets for the Committee Board and UM meetings on a monthly basis.
    • Prepares bed days and other reports as requested by management, IPA clients and peers for Inpatient round reviews.
    • Generates Inpatient statistics on a routine and ad hoc basis as requested by the IPA/Health plan for audit universe submission and provides them to Supervisors/Leads for data validation and submission approval.
    • Participates as the SME and takes the lead in the development, implementation and analysis of data automation and integration projects ie: Tableau, ER dashboards, Inpatient In and OON dashboards etc.
    • Analyzes monthly back up data to identify discrepancies and communicates those to the appropriate TMs for correction in EzCap.
    • Prepares billable reports on capitated hospital admissions on a weekly basis for MPM’s Finance Department as needed.
    • Participates in other assignments as required.

     

    MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    ·        Bachelor’s degree is preferred or related work experience

    ·        Two or more years’ experience in Healthcare related field/Reporting and Data Analysis

    • Computer Proficiency on Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with EzCap preferred
    • Basic math calculation skills

    • Ability to maintain confidentiality according to HIPAA as it relates to member/client’s personal information.
